Do what works for you.

It's true, my brand growth journey has been anything but linear.

I'm never short of exciting ideas for my biz, new concepts and content. But actioning them? Sharing them with the world? That's a whole other story.

Between the balance of client work and maintaining a healthy & happy personal life — there can be little room for working on your own brand. Am I right?

So, we have to choose how and where we show up.

The way we conquer this? Trusting your gut and doing what works for you. Starting with analysing your strengths, attributes and circumstances.

Here's mine:

  • I'm a quality over qnty kinda gal

  • I love discovering, learning and sharing

  • I sell a service and expertise, I don't sell products

  • I value client relationships and community connection

  • I currently operate solo, so time is precious

Taking all this into consideration, I then came up with 4 broad brand marketing focuses for 2023:

  1. Word-of-mouth

ie obtaining testimonials and client referrals

  2. Networking

ie attending events or hosting workshops

  3. Close Community

ie this newsletter where I get to connect with my audience more intimately

  4. Longer Value Based Content

ie my '23 Trend Report that is oh-so-close to complete

So, if you're struggling with the balance of it all, come back to what you know and love, and do what works for you.
